Jackson County families have been crushed by out-of-control property tax assessments. The legislature fought back, and Keri Ingle fought against them every step of the way.
In 2022, Ingle voted against constitutional amendments that would have limited the growth of property assessments.1 In 2025, she voted against cutting personal property assessments—TWICE.2,3 In 2026, she voted against limiting inflationary growth on personal property taxes.4 Bill after bill, vote after vote, Ingle chose the tax assessors over the taxpayers.
And when Missouri voters demanded accountability, putting the Jackson County Assessor on the ballot so residents could hold the office accountable, Ingle was nowhere to be found. She was absent for the final vote.5 Missouri voters approved it anyway, 77% to 23%. Keri Ingle sat it out.
